Welcome to Insights: Time, Energy, and the Irish Coast
An introduction to the Insights blog, bridging the gap between narrative storytelling and the rigorous physics of Energetic Time Theory.

Standing on the Irish coast, one doesn’t see "spacetime geometry." One sees the relentless movement of the tide and the crashing of waves. It is here, in the observation of physical change, that Energetic Time Theory (ETT) was born: the realization that time is not a background stage, but a measurement of what is happening around us, the changes enacted by energy in flow.
This blog is a space for ongoing reflection on that journey. While my Technical Papers provide the mathematical framework for ETT, this "Insights" page is where I will share thoughts, ideas and news relating to the theory.
My upcoming book, Thinking Outside the Clock, is written to make these revolutionary concepts accessible to everyone. To ensure the physics remains clear and engaging, the book unfolds as a dialogue between two characters as they pursue their pastime of fishing on the Irish coast: Sean O'Connor, a seasoned researcher, and Michael Byrne, an enthusiastic learner. Their conversations serve as the vehicle to express the often-abstract notions of time in plain language and using everyday analogies.
In this blog, I will build on that foundation by sharing:
New Perspectives: Brief reflections on why standard models of time often seem paradoxical and non-intuitive.
Conceptual Tools: Analogies to help visualize the "how" and "why" of energetic time.
Project Updates: News regarding the book’s progress and new developments in my research.
The goal of this site is to unveil the "hidden face of time." I invite you to check back regularly as we explore what happens when we finally begin to think outside the clock.
